TOTE Marlin Class LNG Container Ships

Jacksonville, USA-headquartered Tote Maritime, approached WMT to produce a suite of Technical Operating Manuals for their exciting Marlin Class new build programme. These Jones Act ships were the worlds first LNG-powered container ships and the most advanced, environmentally responsible vessels of their kind, serving the Puerto Rico routes.

WMT produced Deck, Machinery and LNG Bunkering Manuals, providing technical support and knowledge of LNG operations during the process. To ensure quality and accuracy, WMT attended NASSCO shipyard, San Diego, during build and sailed on board after delivery, observing LNG bunkering operations and writing safe, ship-specific LNG bunkering procedures.

Having demonstrated our technical expertise and commitment to quality, Tote then commissioned WMT to product the LNG Bunkering Manuals for their new “CLEAN JACKSONVILLE” LNG bunker barge. WMT provided technical expertise, attended the yard and the barge in-service.
