WMT was formed as a joint venture between a marine controls technology company and a technical publications company.

1994

WMT secures contracts to produce a full set of operating & maintenance documents for 5 x LNGCs newbuilding at Chantiers de l'Atlantique for Malaysia's Petronas.

1995-1999

Due to the growing need for ship-owners to have high quality operating manuals, WMT secures contracts for many LNGC and tanker newbuilds.

1999

With a growing international reputation WMT expands its team with marine specialists covering different disciplines within ship operations. The technical and publication team were integrated into one main office near Chester, UK.
